Evan and Sara, Andrew's siblings, came with us to enjoy the fabulous day. The heat index was 110*! Don't worry, we brought our tent for shade! We also brought the two-man kayak and plenty of boogie boards. Andrew and Evan braved the ocean in the kayak, making it out past the surf despite Andrew's boot weighing them down. Evan and Sara, mostly Sara :-), watched Sam so Andrew and I could take the boogie boards out.
On the way back we stopped at Mt. Trashmore to eat our Arby's takeout. It is actually an old landfill that the city covered and turned into a really nice park. We watched skaters on the half pipe while enjoying our roast beef n'cheddar sandwiches.
He kept wiping the loose sand off the packed sand, which would loosen more sand...
