(Pretend I posted this on November 20th...please)
Sam was very well-loved on his birthday (thank you). Andrew called him from school (dern early finals-week mornings) right after he woke up. He also got calls from his Auntie Abby, Grandma, Aunt Bree, cousins Avri & Emery, Grandpa, Grammy, Uncle Evan, and others.
Sam had his two-year check up on Friday. I think he actually enjoys going to the doctor. He gets to play with that giant cube of wires & beads in the waiting room. He gets told that he is cute. He gets to read new books. He gets to slide on the tile floor in his socks. He hangs out in a room decorated with fish/planets/animals/cartoon characters. He gets to see the otoscope ('ear scope') and stethoscope. The doctor acts like Sam is the greatest, asking him questions, playing with him, telling him he's doing a good job. He gets a flavored stick to chew/suck on during his shot. After the first shot, he's sure there will be more--and there aren't. He gets a sticker. If only every visit to the doctor's office was so enjoyable.2 year Stats
