Sam's blessing was on Sunday. Unfortunately, not all of our family was there like we would have wished. (Uncle Rand and Aunt Julie were in New York; my siblings were at their homes in Idaho and Utah; even though Andrew's brother, Evan, was sick, he came to see the actual blessing, but missed the family dinner.)
It was a special time for us as Andrew was able to bless Sam. It was a wonderful feeling to see Andrew act in his role as a father and to welcome Sam into our family.

We, of course, wish we could have been there too, but maybe it was a good thing. There may have been a brawl cuz once I got my hands on that handsome little guy, I wouldn't have let anyone else hold him for a long time!! Sorry Bree, even you!!
