Three years ago I learned what ALS, "Lou Gehrig's Disease", can do to families. My father died after a two year struggle with the debilitating effects of this condition. Little is known about the cause, and there is no cure. Yet.
The ALS Association is trying to change that. Across the country, thousands whose lives have been touched by ALS gather to Walk to D'feet ALS. Tomorrow, my family will walk in Missoula, Montana. Sunday, we'll walk in Columbia, Missouri.
Through raising awareness and funds, we can make a difference. Please, join us. You can register for a walk near you, lend your support as a "virtual walker", or make a donation.
