Saturday I went yard-saling with the girls (Mom & Abby). We found some great deals (Mom has a 6th sense or something): books for Sam, a now-beloved Thomas the Train rolling duffle bag, a lamp, a $2 VCR, a Prada bag for Abby...stuff I'm forgetting.
Sam played with Pop. (Andrew studied. Such a rock star.) I love that Sam & Pop are best friends. Sam will/did follow Pop everywhere. They watered the garden, spread grass seed, and puttered around doing who knows what else. They wore each other out fabulously :-)

If you can, zoom in on Sam's face in the picture with the dog. He still remembers the dogs name.
Sara & Evan came by to open presents. Why is opening presents (or even watching others) so much fun? Sam redistributed the bows & ribbons so everyone had one. (He's sticking a bow on Pop's head in the 2nd picture from the bottom-right.)
We had a bbq with the extended family, wherein the inground pool was used to the utmost...and destroyed.

Looks like lots of fun! You've done a great job getting your posts about your trip up! : )
How fun. A good old fashion mud hole! Love it!!
Every boy (or girl) needs a grandpa to frolic with. Sounds like some good deals for the women. Glad you were able to relax and enjoy---what a trooper,Drew!
