We decorated our tree the first week in December for FHE. It was a new experience this year, trying to make it look nice while keeping all sentimental, breakable, and otherwise non-kid-friendly ornaments out of Sam's ever-expanding reach.
Sam did a great job with keeping the tree off-limits, with an occasional mad grab for one of his favorites. Most mornings, he would come out and stand in front of the lit Christmas tree with his mouth open in awe and an occasional round of applause.
Unfortunately, I never caught the
"this is the best tree in all of recorded history"
moment on camera.
